SUNDAY: TAORMINA AREA

• Arrival at Catania Airport. After collecting your luggage, group transfer to the hotel. No scheduled activities are planned for this day; rooms will be available after 2:00 PM and you will be able to enjoy the city. Information about the program will be available at the hotel reception. Dinner and overnight stay.

MONDAY: ETNA

• Breakfast at the hotel and departure with the guide for Mount Etna, the highest peak in Sicily and the most active volcano in Europe. The area surrounding the volcano forms the "Etna Park," one of the largest protected areas in Italy: you will be amazed by the great variety of vegetation and landscapes encountered along the way before arriving at the "Silvestri Craters" (about 1,900 meters). From here you will have the optional jeep and cable car excursion (extra cost). After tasting some local Sicilian specialties, return to the hotel. Dinner at the hotel and overnight stay.

TUESDAY: SYRACUSE

• Breakfast at the hotel and departure for Syracuse, one of the most interesting archaeological sites on the island with its Archaeological Park (extra cost), the Roman Amphitheatre, the Greek Theatre, the Ear of Dionysius, the Rope Makers' Cave, the Island of Ortigia, the oldest part of the city with its magnificent cathedral. Return to the hotel. Dinner at the hotel and overnight stay.

WEDNESDAY: AGRIGENTO

• Breakfast at the hotel. Meet the guide and depart for Agrigento where you will visit the Valley of the Temples, including the Temple of Juno, the Temple of Concordia (one of the best-preserved Doric temples in the entire Greek world), the Temple of Hercules, the Temple of Castor and Pollux. Return to the hotel in Palermo, dinner and overnight stay.

THURSDAY: PALERMO & DEPARTURE

• Breakfast at the hotel. Check-out at 10:00, group transfer to Palermo Airport. Thank you and goodbye!

(*) It may happen that, in the event of problems, the indicated hotels may be replaced with others of the same category located in the same cities or up to 30 km away, where the program can be carried out. In the event of fully booked hotels, we reserve the right to reverse the tour and/or confirm the booking in a middle-category hotel with a reduction of 5 euros per person per day. The hotel name will be communicated to you 21 days before arrival.

• The rooms must be vacated by 10:00 AM. It is possible to take your luggage with you or leave it free of charge in the hotel storage room. Upon request and for an extra charge, it is possible to keep the room until late afternoon.
• The tours are guaranteed with a minimum of 2 passengers.
• The hotels indicated in the programs may be replaced with others of the same category.
• It is recommended to book optional excursions at the time of booking.
• Some trips may be a combination of several Norma Vacanze tours. It should be expected that some members of the group will join or leave the tour between one stop and the next.
• We try to carry out the tour according to the program, but emergency changes or adverse weather conditions with alternative programs may occur.
• The tour programs may be subject to changes compared to what is published, for technical or logistical reasons, without substantial changes to the program itself.
• Norma Vacanze reserves the right to modify the excursion itinerary if deemed appropriate or for force majeure reasons.
• Norma Vacanze is not responsible for accidents, delays, damage, or loss of luggage or personal belongings, nor for damage caused by third parties or by other events such as floods, storms, landslides, earthquakes, political unrest, epidemics, terrorist attacks, strikes.
• Club card mandatory from 13/05 to 15/09, €6.00 per day per person from 4 years old and up, to be paid at the hotel.
