DAY 2: LIPARI

DAY 3: PANAREA & STROMBOLI

  • Breakfast at the hotel. In the early afternoon departure for Panarea. Stop at the beautiful Calajunco in wonderful waters. Then departure for a cruise of the small islands of Dattilo and Lisca Bianca. In Panarea you will be free to visit the charming village. Continuing towards Basiluzzo, the largest of Panarea's islets, we will reach Stromboli. Sailing along the small village of Ginostra, reachable only by sea, we will take you to Scari, the port of Stromboli. A few steps to your right is the black sand beach of San Vincenzo which continues to surround almost the entire island. You have free time to swim again, stroll through the charming village, visit craft shops and eat: the island offers everything. At sunset, turning around the islet of Strombolicchio, heading towards the Sciara del Fuoco, after dropping anchor, you will enjoy the spectacular view of Stromboli's eruptions. Return to Lipari. Optional transfer to the hotel and overnight stay.

DAY 4: VULCANO

  • Breakfast at the hotel, meeting at the port and departure at 09:30 for Vulcano. The day begins with a trip along the western coast of Lipari, with a visit to the Grotta degli Angeli, the Faraglioni, and the beautiful Vinci beach. Our tour starts along the eastern coast from Lipari to the Vulcanello peninsula and continues towards the seahorse cave, Grotta del Cavallo, and the Pool of Venus, a natural pool in the middle of the sea, followed by a swimming break. The next stop is the port of Vulcano. The island is very large and has many things to see. All the places to visit are easily reachable on foot, so everyone can visit the town and have free time to do everything. We will stop at Vulcano for a long period. Not far from the port are the Black Sands (black beach), the thermal mud pool, and the sulfurous water beach. The village offers a wide choice of traditional restaurants and all kinds of shops. Also, it is possible to climb the large crater of Vulcano. It is recommended to wear comfortable and closed shoes. The path is marked by some signs, the ascent takes about 50 minutes and a little less to descend. Return to Lipari. Free afternoon. Overnight stay.

DAY 5: ALICUDI & FILICUDI

  • Breakfast at the hotel, today you can choose to explore the surroundings or spend the day at Alicudi & Filicudi.
  • Optional excursion: Alicudi & Filicudi. Meeting at the port, departure at 09:30 and return at 18:00. A few minutes after departure you can admire "Pietra Lunga" and "Pietra Menalda," two large volcanic rocks of Lipari. One hour later (if we are lucky, we can meet dolphins during navigation) we will arrive at Capo Graziano, on the island of Filicudi, our first opportunity to swim. The waters around Filicudi and Alicudi are the most unspoiled in the entire archipelago. Along the western coast, we will reach the Bue Marino cave, the largest in the entire archipelago, where we will stop to swim. For the moment, we say goodbye to Filicudi and head towards the small port of Alicudi. There, you will have free time to visit the village. Alicudi will appear as a huge cone full of typical houses hanging on the side of the mountain. The main path is a stone mule track that climbs to the top of the island and the only means of transport is the donkey. All around the island is surrounded by the seafront where you can swim again or look for a bar for lunch. You will admire the volcanic rocks of Montenassari, Giafante, and especially Canna (a singular volcanic neck, about 233 feet high). Here, the incredible blue sea invites us to stop again for a swim. The next stop will be the port of Filicudi. Free time to visit the village and swim. Going back up the village, it is possible to visit the prehistoric village of Capo Graziano and the old mills (they are not far but, if you do not want to walk, you can find taxis right in the port, ask how much a ride costs). We will enjoy the sunset at the large rocks "Faraglioni". Return for overnight stay.

DAY 6: LIPARI & SALINA

  • Breakfast at the hotel, meeting at the port and departure at 10:00. These islands are the largest in the Aeolian archipelago and, thanks to their proximity, the itinerary offers more opportunities to swim and visit places rather than sail. Along the eastern coast of Lipari, we will head towards Monte Rosa, the village of Canneto, and the White Beaches. Our first stop will be at the pumice stone beach with its incredible waters, so turquoise, that they rival the best Caribbean beaches. Continuing towards the village of Acquacalda, you will admire from the sea the black obsidian flow that cuts the white and majestic mountain which, some time ago, housed the old pumice mine. We leave Lipari for a moment to head towards Salina where you will visit Santa Marina, the largest suburb of the island. Admiring the wonderful coasts you will be amazed to see the boat enter a beautiful bay with a small islet in the center. The sharp change in depth, the semicircular shape, and the layered rocks suggest that you are inside an old partially submerged crater. Ladies and gentlemen, you have arrived at the bay of Pollara (our friendly director Massimo Troisi chose this place to set his last and unforgettable masterpiece: "Il Postino"). Our last stop in Salina will be Lingua, a small suburb, where you can visit the natural salt lake, once used for salt extraction (it gives the island its name). The suburb is full of traditional restaurants and bars by the sea. Our crew will be happy to recommend the best places for lunch. In the afternoon we will return to Lipari to finish the route. The western coast is full of strangely shaped rocks and beautiful caves in the Valle Muria inlet, it will be the cherry on top of a splendid day at sea. Return at 17:00. Overnight stay at the hotel.
