Suggested itinerary: Drive to Greve in Chianti, considered the gateway to the Chianti region thanks to its strategic position halfway between central Florence and central Siena. It is a small, picturesque town where you can breathe in the countryside air. Greve’s square is still the focal point of the town. The weekly market still takes place on Saturdays in the square. Departure for Siena. Overnight stay.
DAY 2: MONTERIGGIONI/SAN GIMIGNANO
Breakfast at the hotel. Today you are free to relax and explore the city independently. We suggest visiting Monteriggioni and San Gimignano.
Suggested itinerary: Reach the medieval town of Monteriggioni, one of the best-preserved medieval centers in the country, founded in the 13th century. Located on a small hill, the medieval town is enclosed by a wall almost 600 meters long. Here you can easily get the feeling of being transported to another era, because small and charming houses and narrow streets characterize the town of Monteriggioni. Continue the day driving to the medieval town of San Gimignano, one of the most characteristic and fascinating medieval towns in Tuscany: UNESCO site. San Gimignano has remained unchanged since the end of the 14th century to the present day and is one of the most visited places in Tuscany. Taste the world champion ice cream in San Gimignano. Vernaccia tasting in a typical farm in San Gimignano. Overnight stay in Siena.

Suggested itinerary: Enjoy Siena. The medieval city of Siena is a masterpiece of the Gothic period. With its winding historic center and the narrow reddish-brown streets of tall brick buildings on Siena’s clay roads, it seems as if the clock of the centuries has stopped. The historic center, on its three hills grouped in the shape of three stars, is famous for its Palazzo Pubblico and its Torre del Mangia (88 meters high). From here you can enjoy a splendid view of the famous and beautiful Piazza del Campo. Taste the traditional cantucci and ricciarelli in a typical pastry shop in Siena. Overnight stay in Siena.
