Suggested itinerary: Drive to Greve in Chianti, considered the gateway to the Chianti region due to its strategic location halfway between the center of Florence and the center of Siena. It is a small and picturesque town where you can breathe the countryside air. The square of Greve is still the focal point of the town. The weekly market still takes place on Saturdays in the square. Departure for Siena. Overnight stay.

Situated on a small hill, the medieval town is enclosed by a wall almost 600 meters long. Here you easily get the feeling of being transported to another time, because small, charming houses and narrow streets characterize the town of Monteriggioni. Continue your day driving to the medieval town of San Gimignano, one of the most characteristic and charming medieval towns in Tuscany: a UNESCO site.
