DAY 1: TAORMINA AREA

• Arrival at Catania Airport. Transfer on request to the Taormina area, accommodation in hotel. Dinner and overnight stay in the Taormina area.

DAY 2: TAORMINA & CASTELMOLA

• After breakfast, the Vespa tour begins! Your charming scooter will be delivered to your hotel. Hop on the Vespa and travel to discover Taormina "the Pearl of the Mediterranean" and visit it by crossing Corso Umberto, which represents the heart of the city where you can find splendid ancient buildings, including the 15th-century Palazzo Corvaja and the Greek-Roman theater, the 2nd largest classical theater in Sicily - Over the centuries, the city has always been a sought-after destination. From the Greek-Roman theater, you can admire the bay of Giardini Naxos, Mount Etna, and the Calabrian coast. Continue to Castelmola, another beautiful village overlooking Taormina and the bay of Giardini Naxos. There you will explore the streets, enjoying the breathtaking view of Etna. Time to visit the picturesque "Bar Turrisi," a "must" in Castelmola, where you can taste the famous "Almond Wine" accompanied by typical local biscuits. The tour will end with you enjoying the sunset from the panoramic square above the town. Return to the hotel, dinner, and overnight stay.

DAY 3: FORZA D'AGRO' & SAVOCA

• Breakfast at the hotel. Today you can choose to visit the villages made famous by the movie The Godfather.
  
  Suggested itinerary: Departure for Forza D'Agrò, a charming village located on a hill overlooking Taormina and the Ionian Sea. Walking along the narrow streets of this small town, besides breathtaking views, you can admire the Durazzesco arch and the Cathedral, the place chosen to set one of the most romantic scenes of The Godfather movie, Michael Corleone's wedding. From the panoramic square, you can enjoy an extraordinary view of the coast. After visiting this little gem, continue to Savoca, which was also the location of the famous film directed by Francis Ford Coppola. The buildings and monuments featured in the film are real, such as the famous Bar Vitelli, the same bar used for the filming of The Godfather. Continue to the hotel, dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 4: ALCANTARA GORGES & FRANCAVILLA DI SICILIA

• After breakfast, you can choose to visit the Alcantara Gorges and Francavilla di Sicilia.
  
  Suggested itinerary: The Alcantara Gorges are a wonderful natural canyon of volcanic origin, where you can admire the majesty of the Alcantara river flowing between lava stone walls. The play of light and shadows on the steep walls of the gorges creates a world of illusions. The river water is always fresh. To descend into the gorge, you can take the stairs or an elevator (cost about €9 not included). The small beach area is great for dipping your feet, sunbathing, or if you want to dive, there are areas where the water is a bit deeper and you can jump in. Recommended clothing: swimsuit, beach towels. Continue to Francavilla di Sicilia, a very ancient village famous for its convent. We also recommend a stop at Linguaglossa before returning to the hotel. Return the Vespa, dinner and overnight stay.

DAYS 5-6-7: OPTIONAL EXCURSIONS

• Breakfast at the hotel. You will have 3 days to relax or you can take advantage of the opportunity to do some interesting excursions (optional). Dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 8: THE TOUR ENDS AFTER BREAKFAST

• Today your journey ends after breakfast. Check-out at 10:00. Proceed to Catania airport. End of our services.

• NORMA VACANZE is not responsible for accidents, delays, damage or loss of luggage or personal belongings, nor for damages caused by third parties or others such as floods, storms, hurricanes, landslides, earthquakes, political unrest, terrorist attacks, strikes.

IMPORTANT TO KNOW THAT:

• The Vespa must be returned with a full tank of fuel by the customer.
• 24-hour emergency/assistance number available for our customers in case they have problems with the Vespa, etc.
• In case of emergency, vehicle assistance will be guaranteed 24 hours a day. The customer will have an emergency number
• No daily km limit
• No km limit during the trip
• One Vespa is available per person/tour
• Insurance: civil liability for people and things. Coverage for passenger and driver damages. In case of liability in the accident, the damages to the VESPA are attributed to the driver
• No refund of any deposit or payment received if customers do not meet the requirements to drive in Italy at the time of rental or tour.
• Vespa handover on the day of delivery with explanation. The VESPAS are delivered to the hotel the morning after arrival at a time to be determined (presumably from 09:00 to 09:30) with vehicle instructions and signing of the rental contract. The pickup will be in the afternoon of the last day, presumably from 18:00 to 19:00
• 24-hour emergency/assistance number available for our customers in case they have problems with the Vespa, etc. In case of emergency, vehicle assistance will be guaranteed 24 hours a day. The customer will have an emergency number

VESPA rental conditions

• The renter must be at least 21 years old with at least two years of driving experience and possess a valid identity document.

• The renter must have a credit card.
• The vehicle can only be driven by the persons indicated in the contract.
• Any violation of civil, criminal, or traffic laws will be the responsibility of the signatory of the rental contract.
• The vehicle must be returned on the scheduled day; otherwise, an additional rental day will be charged.
• The use of the helmet (included in the price) is mandatory.
• The renter must check the general condition of the vehicle before picking it up and must return it in the same good condition.
• The return of the vehicle must take place where agreed upon at the time of rental.
• RCA insurance for third-party damages and coverage for driver damages
• Unless the national driving license was issued by an EU/EFTA member state, it must be accompanied by an international driving permit, to be obtained before departure, or by a sworn translation in Italian

• Cancellations up to 15 days before departure with full refund.
• Cancellations from 14 to 8 days before departure, 30% penalty.
• Cancellations from 7 to 4 days before departure, 50% penalty.
• In case of cancellation within 3 days before departure, 100% penalty.
• No refund is provided for no-shows or voluntary interruption of an already started trip.
