Day 1: TAORMINA AREA

• Arrival in Catania Airport option transfer to Taormina area, accommodation to the hotel. Overnight

Day 2: TAORMINA & CASTELMOLA

• After breakfast, the Vespa tour starts! Your suggestive motorbike will be delivered in your hotel. Get on your Vespa and travel at the discovery Taormina “ the Pearl of the Mediterranean” and excursion trough Corso Umberto that represents the heart of the city where there are splendid ancient buildings, including the 15th century Palazzo Corvaja and the Greek-Roman theater, the 2nd largest classical theater in Sicily - Over the centuries, the city it has always been a popular destination. From the Greek-Roman Amphitheater you can in fact admire the bay of Giardini Naxos, Volcano Etna and the Calabrian coast. Continuation to Castelmola, another beautiful village overlooking Taormina and Giardini Naxos bay. There you will explore the streets, enjoying the stunning view of Mount Etna. Time for a visit of the picturesque “Bar Turrisi”, a “must” of Castelmola, where you can taste the famous “Almond wine” accompanied with “Cantucci biscuits”. The tour will fi nish enjoying the amazing view of the sunset from the panoramic square above the village. Drive back to the hotel, overnight.

Day 3: FORZA D’AGRO’ & SAVOCA

• After Breakfast in Hotel. Today you will visit the villages made famous by the film The Godfather. Departure to Forza D'Agrò a charming village located on a hill overlooking Taormina and the Ionian Sea. Walking along the narrow streets of this small town, in addition to the breathtaking views, it will be possible to admire the Durazzesco arch and the Cathedral, a place chosen to set one of the most romantic scenes of the Godfather's film, the wedding of Micheal Corleone. From the Panoramic Square you can enjoy an extraordinary view of the coast. After visiting this little gem, continue for Savoca which was the location of the famous film “Il Padrino”. This village is famous because here have been shooted some of the famous parts of the movie “The Godfather”, directed by Francis Ford Coppola. The buildings and the monuments of the movie are still here, like the famous Bar Vitelli, the same bar used to shoot The Godfather – Drive to the hotel, overnight.

Day 4: ALKANTARA GORGES & FRANCAVILLA DI SICILIA

• After breakfast, excursion to Alcantara Gorges (Gole dell’Alcantara The Alcantara Gorges (Gole dell’Alcantara), are a wonderful natural canyon, where you can admire majesty of the river that flows through the lava stone walls. The game of light and shade on the steep walls of the gorge creates a world of illusion. The water in the river is always cool. To get down into the gorge you can either take the stairs or an elevator (fee about € 8 not included). The small beach area is great for getting your feet wet, sunbathing, or if you desire to jump in there are areas where the water is a little deeper so you can dive in. Stop in Francavilla di Sicilia very old Borgo and it was famous for convent. Then proceed towards Linguaglossa, where we will stop in a farm and visit a plantation of hazelnuts, tasting as well some typical Sicilian product, such as pistachios, hazelnuts, wines, salamis, honey etc. Suggested dresses: swimming suit, beach towels. Drive back to the hotel delivery the Vespa and overnights.

DAY 5: DEPARTURE DAY

• Breakfast in the hotel. Check out at 10:00. Optional transfer to the airport and end of our services. Grazie e arrivederci!

• NORMA VACANZE is not responsible for accidents, delays, damage or loss of luggage or personal items, nor for damage caused by third parties or others such as floods, storms, hurricanes, landslides, earthquakes, political unrest, terrorist attacks, strikes.

IMPORTANT TO KNOW THAT:

• The Vespa must be returned with a full tank of fuel by the customer.
• Emergency number / 24 hour assistance available for our customers in case they have problems with the Vespa etc.
• In case of emergency, assistance on the vehicle will be guaranteed 24 hours a day. The customer will have an emergency number
• No limit of km per day
• No km limit during the trip
• 1 Vespa is available per person / tour
• Insurance: civil liability for people and things. Passenger and driver damage coverage. In case of liability in the accident, the damages of the VESPA are attributed to the driver
• No deposit or payment received will be refunded if customers do not meet the requirements to drive in Italy at the time of rental or tour.
• Collection of the Vespa on the day of delivery with explanation. The VESPA are delivered to the hotel the morning after arrival at a certain time (presumably from 09:00 to 09:30) with the instructions of the vehicle and the signing of the rental agreement. The pickup will be in the afternoon of the last day presumably from 18:00 to 19:00
• Emergency number / 24 hour assistance available for our customers in case they have problems with the Vespa etc. In case of emergency, assistance on the vehicle will be guaranteed 24 hours a day. The customer will have an emergency number

* The supply of Vespa is limited, in case of exhaustion of the Vespa, a scooter of equal performance will be provided.

VESPA rental conditions

• The hirer must be at least 21 years of age and have driving experience of at least two years and be in possession of a valid identity document.
• The hirer must have a credit card.
• The vehicle can only be driven by the persons indicated in the contract.
• Any violation of civil, criminal or traffic laws will be the responsibility of the signatory of the rental agreement.
• The vehicle must be returned on the scheduled day; otherwise, an additional rental day will be charged.
• The use of the helmet (included in the price) is mandatory.
• The renter must check the general condition of the vehicle before collecting it and must return it in the same good condition.
• The return of the vehicle must take place where agreed at the time of rental.
• Third party liability insurance and driver damage coverage
• Unless the national license has been issued by an EU/EFTA member state, it must be accompanied by an international driving permit, to be obtained before departure, or by a sworn translation into Italian

• Cancellations up to 15 days before departure with full refund.
• Cancellations from 14 to 8 days before departure, penalty of 30%
• Cancellations from 7 to 4 days before departure, penalty of 50%
• In case of cancellation within 3 days before departure, penalty of 100%
• There will be no refund for no shows or voluntary interruption of an already started trip
