DAY 1: ARRIVAL

Arrival at the airport. After picking up the rental car, reach Perugia, a city of art and history, located in a splendid position between the Tiber Valley and Lake Trasimeno. Upon arrival, go up to the Rocca, the heart of the historic center, enclosed by Etruscan and medieval walls.

Suggested itinerary: Visit the city: the Palazzo dei Priori, today home to the Municipality and the Umbrian National Gallery, the Fontana Maggiore, symbol of the city and a splendid example of sculpture, created by the brothers Nicola and Giovanni Pisano in 1280, the Cathedral of San Lorenzo, dating back to the mid-14th century. Visit the Noble College of the Money Changers, ancient seat of bankers and money changers, a true treasure chest. The Audience Hall hosts a cycle of frescoes by Pietro Perugino, a masterpiece of the artist at the peak of his career at the end of the 15th century. A stop is recommended at one of Perugia's historic pastry shops to taste one of the chocolate specialties or a visit to the Umbrian National Gallery inside the Palazzo dei Priori. In October: possibility to visit the Eurochocolate stands in Perugia. Accommodation at the hotel. Overnight stay.
DAY 2: ASSISI

Suggested itinerary: Reach Assisi, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site because it "preserves a set of masterpieces of human creative genius." Every stone speaks of its most illustrious citizen, Saint Francis, Patron of Italy. The visit, between art and spirituality, begins at the Basilica of Santa Maria degli Angeli which houses the "Porziuncola," the place where Saint Francis died: long abandoned, it was restored by Francis himself upon his return to Assisi at the end of 1207. Continue towards the center where you admire the Basilica of Saint Francis with the tomb of the Saint and the splendid frescoes by Giotto and his school. Along the alleys, reach the Church of St. Clare with the relics of the Saint and the wooden crucifix which, according to tradition, spoke to Saint Francis. Return to the hotel and overnight stay.
DAY 3: SPELLO & SPOLETO

Suggested itinerary: Breakfast at the hotel. The day is dedicated to visiting some of the most beautiful cities in Umbria. First visit to Spello, an ancient medieval village at the foot of Monte Subasio, among the most beautiful in Italy. Visit the Baglioni Chapel inside the Collegiate Church of Santa Maria Maggiore, famous for a cycle of frescoes by Pinturicchio dating back to 1500 and the ceramic floors from Deruta. Continue to Spoleto. Visit the city: the Roman Theater, the Mauri Palace, the Church of Sant'Ansano and the Arch of Drusus. In the afternoon, reach the Marmore Falls, a natural spectacle of incredible charm, included by UNESCO among the World Heritage Sites. Praised over the centuries for its beauty, it appears as a roaring column of water distributed over three jumps over 165 meters high. Walk along one of the park's trails. Return to the hotel in the evening, overnight stay.
DAY 4: GUBBIO

Suggested itinerary: Departure towards Gubbio, one of the oldest cities in Umbria, at the foot of Monte Ingino. Visit the historic center with Piazza Grande, a real terrace overlooking the city, the Palazzo dei Consoli with its unmistakable battlemented profile, the Cathedral and the Renaissance-style Ducal Palace commissioned by Federico da Montefeltro. Possibility to take the funicular up Monte Ingino (optional and at extra cost) to the Basilica of Sant'Ubaldo, protector of the city - Return to the hotel and overnight stay.
DAY 5: THE TOUR ENDS AFTER BREAKFAST
- Breakfast at the hotel. Check out at 10:00. Reach the airport, return the car and end of our services. Thank you and goodbye!

- Each rental day is a 24-hour period; the vehicle must be returned on time or within the following 59 minutes.
- Car pickup and return at the airport will take place during the opening hours of the rental company (every day from 08:00 to 22:30); after these hours, the rental company will apply an additional charge. Please inquire before booking your flight.
- The car must be returned to the same airport, or there will be an additional cost to be agreed upon with the rental company.
- Norma Vacanze only acts as an intermediary between the customer and the rental company. In case of disputes with the rental company or accidents, the rules established in the contract signed at the airport between the customer and the rental company will apply, without any involvement of Norma Vacanze.
- Each customer can independently choose whether to follow the suggested itinerary or create one based on their own needs. However, it is essential to follow the program related to the cities where overnight stays are planned.
- Cars are subject to availability, and your category may not be available at all times. If category C is not available at the time of booking, a higher category will be offered with an additional charge that will be communicated before confirming each reservation.
- Hotel parking is not guaranteed but can be found nearby.
- The rate includes the rental of a category C car for the duration of the stay with the "GOLD" insurance package; with an additional charge, the Platinum insurance can be booked.
- Drivers must have a credit card for check-in.
- Norma Vacanze reserves the right to modify the excursion itinerary if deemed appropriate or due to force majeure.
- Norma Vacanze is not responsible for accidents, delays, damage or loss of luggage or personal belongings, nor for damages caused by third parties or others such as floods, storms, landslides, earthquakes, political unrest, epidemics, terrorist attacks, strikes, etc.
The rate does not include:
- Tourist tax to be paid locally
- Lunches and dinners unless mentioned
- Tips and personal extras
- Porter service
- Fuel
- Highway tolls
- Parking fees
- Tickets for planes, ships, trains, or buses to reach the airport
- Entrance fees to monuments and archaeological parks
- Anything not expressly indicated under "the rate includes."

The rate does not include:
- Fuel
- Fines
- Re-notification fees
- Rental starting from another airport
- Child seat
- GPS navigator
- Fuel recovery service, a surcharge of €30.00 will be applied if the car is returned with more than 5 liters of fuel missing.
- There is a 59-minute tolerance, after which a full day will be charged.
- At the time of booking, the car category is guaranteed, not the model.
The Gold Insurance includes:
- With "Gold" the deductible amount is not charged. The "Gold" package eliminates the deductibles for damage and total theft and allows the elimination of the deductible also for damages to parts of the vehicle not covered by the "Silver" package and includes coverage for glass and tires. Partial theft, attempted theft, roof damage, damage to the underside of the vehicle, interior damage, and damage caused by vandalism, riots, etc. are excluded.
Platinum Insurance (on request):
- If the customer purchases the "Platinum" package, the amount of theft deductibles (also for partial theft and attempted theft) and damage (including damage to the roof, underside of the vehicle, and interiors) is eliminated, and PAI services are included (which guarantees the driver in case of death, permanent disability, and injuries, with a maximum coverage of up to €100,000) and "24h Roadside Assistance Plus" (covers all towing costs in case of an accident with fault and for any other event occurring during the rental period).
