Suggested itinerary: Drive to Alghero. Visit the historic center with its walls and Spanish towers, the Church of San Francesco, the Cathedral, and the Bousquet promenade. Option to take a boat excursion to Neptune's Grotto, departing from the port of Alghero. Continue to the promontory of Capo Caccia and Porto Conte Bay for a panoramic excursion. On the way back, we suggest stopping at the Nuraghe Palmavera for a visit. Return to the hotel by car. Overnight stay in a hotel in the Tempio di Pausania area.
DAY 3: COSTA SMERALDA

Suggested itinerary: Today's visit begins with "Il Nurago la Prisgiona" in the municipality of Arzachena, one of the 7000 circular towers dating back to the Bronze Age. This megalithic culture is unique throughout the Mediterranean area and is one of the most important archaeological monuments in Sardinia. Next, you will pass through the magical mountain village of San Pantaleo, with its fascinating granite formations, to reach the Costa Smeralda. In San Pantaleo, we will make a short photo stop. Continue to Baia Sardinia, one of the most sought-after destinations on the Costa Smeralda, thanks to its wonderful beaches. Along the panoramic Costa Smeralda route, you can then discover the numerous emerald-colored sandy bays that inspired the founder, Karim Aga Khan, to turn this stretch of coast into the most famous and exclusive vacation paradise of jet-set tourism. Visit the fashion capital of Porto Cervo and discover the fashion boutiques, exclusive restaurants, and the large tourist marina. Overnight stay in the hotel.
DAY 4: CORSICA
- Breakfast at the hotel. Today you are free to relax and explore the surroundings, swim at the beach, or spend the day in Corsica.
- Suggested itinerary: Drive to the port of Santa Teresa di Gallura, located at the northern tip of Sardinia. From there take the ferry to Bonifacio. It takes 45 minutes to reach the other shore. Between the two islands, Corsica and Sardinia, there are 13 km of sea. Like most port towns, Bonifacio also has a rich history. The ancient commercial city founded between 823 and 833 by the Marquis of Tuscany is made up of a “marina” district, the lower town, and the “upper town” located on a promontory from which breathtaking views can be admired. On clear days, the Sardinian coast can be seen. The tourist train takes visitors to the upper part, where guests will enjoy a guided walking tour of about one hour. Return by ferry to Santa Teresa. Return to the hotel by car. Overnight stay in a hotel in the Tempio di Pausania area.
DAY 5: SANT' ANTIOCO DI BISARCIO & BARUMINI
- Breakfast at the hotel and departure. First stop at Sant’Antioco di Bisarcio, where one of the largest Romanesque churches in Sardinia stands, famous for the various phases of its construction and its enviable panoramic position. The church, built in volcanic rock and ten meters high, is one of the most impressive examples of the island's Romanesque heritage. Continue to Barumini, where you can visit the Nuraghe Su Nuraxi, an archaeological site that preserves the remains of a complex of prehistoric defensive structures. At an altitude of 238 m, it is one of the best-preserved megalithic monumental sites in Europe. Recognized as a symbol of Sardinia, this type of cyclopean construction called a nuraghe is characterized by the erection of a truncated conical tower made of megaliths. Continue to Cagliari and check in at the hotel. Overnight stay in a hotel in the Tempio di Pausania area.
DAY 6: CAGLIARI & SANTA MARGHERITA DI PULA
- Breakfast at the hotel. Today you are free to relax and explore the surroundings, swim at the beach, or visit Cagliari.
- Suggested itinerary: Wake up early and visit Cagliari, the main city of Sardinia. Explore the Roman amphitheater, visit the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Castello, and admire the gilded royal palaces. Our favorite spot here is the Elephant Tower: climb to the top for the best view of the city and the sea. In the afternoon, we suggest an excursion to Santa Margherita di Pula. Founded in medieval times and developed in the 18th century, it is famous for the archaeological site of Nora, dating back to the Phoenician and Roman periods. Thanks to its beautiful beaches, it has become an important tourist destination. Continue to Cagliari. Overnight stay in a hotel in the Cagliari area.
DAY 7: VILLASIMIUS & COSTA REI
- Breakfast at the hotel. Today you are free to relax and explore the surroundings, swim at the beach, or visit Villasimius and Costa Rei.
- Suggested itinerary: Wake up early and drive to Villasimius, a beautiful seaside town, then to Costa Rei, where there are well-preserved nuraghi in the area. Return to Cagliari and overnight stay.
DAY 8: BARBAGIA & DEPARTURE

Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to Cagliari or Olbia airport. If heading to Olbia, drive through the Supramonte area to visit Monte Tiscali and a prehistoric village. Alternatively, take the SS125 south: the winding road winds through the mountains. Admire the incredible views of the Gulf of Orosei and the eastern coast of Sardinia, stop at the prehistoric village of Serra Orrios in the Dorgali area to explore the underground paths of the Ispingoli caves and then in the coastal town of Santa Maria Navarrese - it is a nice place for a swim! Arrival at the airport, return of the car at the rental desk. End of services.

- The car must be returned to the same airport, otherwise an additional cost will apply to be agreed with the rental company.
- Each day of rental corresponds to a 24-hour period; the vehicle must be returned on time or within 59 minutes of the scheduled return time.
- Pick-up and drop-off of the car at the airport will take place during the rental company's opening hours (every day from 08:00 to 22:30); outside these hours the rental company will apply a surcharge. Please check before booking the flight.

Platinum insurance includes:
- With Platinum insurance, the deductible amount is not charged. The "Platinum" package eliminates deductibles for all damage, partial theft, attempted theft, and total theft, including glass, tires, roof damage, and damage to the underside of the vehicle. Interior damage and damage caused by vandalism, riots, etc. are excluded.
