• Breakfast at the hotel. Reach the airport, return the car, and depart for Catania; arrival and pick up the rental car for Taormina - free afternoon and overnight stay.

FRIDAY: ETNA & TAORMINA

• Breakfast at the hotel. Today you are free to relax and explore the surroundings, swim, or visit Etna and Taormina.

• Suggested itinerary: Departure for Etna, the highest peak in Sicily and the most active volcano in Europe. The territory surrounding the volcano constitutes the "Etna Park," one of the largest protected areas in Italy: You will be amazed by the great variety of vegetation and landscapes encountered along the way before reaching the "Silvestri Craters" (about 1,900 meters). From here you will have the option to continue the excursion by jeep and cable car (at an extra cost). Reach Taormina. Walking and discovering the incredible city of Taormina, you will see beautiful ancient buildings, including the 15th-century Corvaja Palace and an ancient Greco-Roman theater, the second largest classical theater in Sicily. Discover the medieval area of the city with its narrow streets and old shops. Return to the hotel. Overnight in Taormina at the hotel.

SATURDAY: CATANIA & SYRACUSE

• Breakfast at the hotel. Today you are free to relax and explore the surroundings, swim, or visit Catania and Syracuse.

• Suggested itinerary: Departure for Catania for a walking tour through the streets of Catania's historic center, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with its Baroque palaces and incredible monuments. Visit the open-air fish market, famous for its particular colors. Continue to Syracuse, one of the most interesting archaeological sites on the island with its Archaeological Park, the Roman Amphitheater, the Greek Theater, the Ear of Dionysius, the Cordari Cave, the Island of Ortigia, the oldest part of the city with its splendid cathedral. Return to the hotel. Overnight in the Taormina area.

• The car must be returned to the same airport, otherwise an additional cost will apply to be agreed with the rental company.
• Each rental day is a 24-hour period; the vehicle must be returned on time or within the following 59 minutes.
• Car pick-up and return at the airport will take place during the opening hours of the rental company (every day from 08:00 to 22:30); after these hours, the rental company will apply an additional charge. Please check before booking your flight.

• To avoid queues at museums or archaeological parks, it is necessary to book in advance: Advance booking of entrance tickets is mandatory on the first day of the tour.
• Tickets are non-refundable.

• Fuel recovery service, a €30.00 surcharge will be applied if the car is returned with more than 5 liters of fuel missing.
• There is a 59-minute grace period, after which a full day will be charged.
• At the time of booking, the car category is guaranteed, not the model.

Platinum insurance includes:

• With Platinum insurance, the deductible amount is not charged. The "Platinum" package eliminates the deductibles for all damages, partial, attempted, and total theft, including glass, tires, roof damage, and damage to the underside of the vehicle. Interior damages and those caused by vandalism, riots, etc. are excluded.

• Cancellations up to 15 days before departure with full refund.
• Cancellations from 14 to 8 days before departure, 30% penalty.
• Cancellations from 7 to 4 days before departure, 50% penalty.
• In case of cancellation within 3 days before departure, 100% penalty.
• No refund is provided for no-shows or voluntary interruption of a trip already started.
