• Breakfast at the hotel. Today you are free to relax and explore the surroundings, go for a swim, or visit Mount Etna and Taormina.

• Suggested itinerary: Departure for Mount Etna, the highest peak in Sicily and the most active volcano in Europe. The territory surrounding the volcano forms the "Mount Etna Park," one of the largest protected areas in Italy: you will be amazed by the great variety of vegetation and landscapes encountered along the way before reaching the "Silvestri Craters" (about 1,900 meters). From here you will have the opportunity to continue the excursion by jeep and cable car (at an additional cost). Reach Taormina. As you walk and discover the incredible city of Taormina, you will see beautiful ancient buildings, including the 15th-century Palazzo Corvaja and an ancient Greco-Roman theater, the second-largest classical theater in Sicily. • Suggested itinerary: Departure for Catania for a walking tour through the streets of the historic center of Catania, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with its Baroque palaces and incredible monuments. Visit to the open-air fish market, famous for its distinctive colors. Continue to Syracuse, one of the island's most interesting archaeological sites with its Archaeological Park, Roman Amphitheater, Greek Theater, Ear of Dionysius, Cave of the Cord Makers, and the island of Ortigia, the oldest part of the city with its splendid cathedral. Return to the hotel. Overnight stay in the Taormina area.
