Adjacent to St. Peter's Basilica, the miles of corridors of the Vatican Museums connect buildings and courtyards that house the Picture Gallery, the Egyptian Museum, the Gallery of Tapestries, the Pio-Clementine Museum, and the Gallery of Maps. Overnight in the Sorrento area.

It is almost unbelievable how the fabulous frescoes decorating the walls and floors of the villas have been preserved.
