DAY 1: ARRIVAL

• Arrival at the hotel. No activities are planned for this day. Free time to explore the city independently. Overnight stay.

DAY 2: CINQUE TERRE

• Breakfast at the hotel. Full day dedicated to visiting the Cinque Terre. After reaching La Spezia train station, depart by train for Riomaggiore - reachable in just 7 minutes - visit the village and continue by train to Manarola. Visit the characteristic village. Continuing the train journey, you reach Vernazza, the most picturesque of the five villages. If you are good walkers, we recommend continuing to Monterosso following trail no. 2: it takes about 2 hours, but it is truly a beautiful experience. Walking up and down, you will have a splendid view of these hills overlooking the Mediterranean. Overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY 3: PORTOVENERE & PALMARIA ISLAND

• Breakfast at the hotel. It is recommended to dedicate the day to trekking (optional). Once you arrive in Portovenere, use the boat service to reach Palmaria Island, the largest of the three islands in the Gulf of Poets. Disembark at the Terrizzo pier, where the island tour begins. It is an easy and very scenic route, at times spectacular; you will encounter fortifications from the last century and the ancient "portoro" marble quarries; the actual walking time on the trail is rather short - about 2 hours -, 7 km in total. In the evening, return to the hotel, dinner in a local restaurant, and overnight stay.

DAY 4: LERICI & GULF OF POETS

• Breakfast at the hotel. The day can be dedicated to visiting the town of Lerici, on the eastern shore of the Gulf of Poets. Lerici was a stronghold of the Maritime Republic of Pisa and from that period it preserves the castle and the village. A visit to the village of Tellaro is also recommended, a typical example of a Ligurian fishing village perched above the sea. In the afternoon, wine tasting in a local winery. Return to the hotel, overnight stay.

DAY 5: RAPALLO & PORTOVENERE

• Breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, depart for Rapallo. During the journey, a stop is recommended at the ancient village of Portovenere, once a stronghold of the Maritime Republic of Genoa. Visit the 12th-century castle, the small church of San Pietro - which overlooks the sea opposite the lush Palmaria Island, the 11th-century parish church of San Lorenzo, and the "caruggi": small alleys, lanes made lively and colorful by numerous local artisan workshops and typical products, which make up the village itself. Arrival at the hotel, overnight stay.

DAY 6: PORTOFINO

• After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to Santa Margherita Ligure to take the ferry to Portofino, one of the trendiest fishing villages on the Ligurian Riviera. Relaxation is a must: we recommend shopping in the boutiques in the center before enjoying a panoramic aperitif at sunset. After spending the day exploring Portofino, return to Santa Margherita Ligure by boat. Overnight stay.

DAY 7: BAY OF SILENCE AND GULF OF TIGULLIO

• Breakfast at the hotel. We recommend visiting the village of Sestri Levante and its splendid bay: the Bay of Silence. You can continue the day by walking toward the promontory of Punta Manara, triangular in shape in the Gulf of Tigullio, which stretches between the Ligurian resorts of Sestri Levante and Riva Trigoso. In the evening, dinner in a local restaurant. Return to the hotel, overnight stay.

DAY 8: THE TOUR ENDS AFTER BREAKFAST

• Breakfast at the hotel. Check-out at 10:00 and end of our services. Thank you and goodbye.

In the event that hotels are fully booked, we reserve the right to reverse the tour and/or confirm the booking in a mid-range hotel with a reduction of 5 euros per person per day. The hotel name will be sent to you 14 days before arrival.

• Parking at the hotel is not guaranteed, but it will be possible to find it nearby.
• Norma Vacanze has the right to modify the tour itinerary if deemed appropriate or in the event of force majeure.
