DAY 1: PALERMO

• Arrival at Palermo airport. After picking up the rental car, drive to Palermo. No activities are planned for this day. Free time to explore the city independently. Overnight in Palermo.

DAY 2: PALERMO, MONREALE & MONDELLO

• Breakfast at the hotel. Today you are free to relax and explore the city independently Palermo

  Suggested itinerary: Today you will visit Palermo - You will start with the Teatro Massimo, the third largest opera house in Europe. Then you will enter the popular "Il Capo" market, which resembles an African suk; at the end of the market visit you can taste the typical Sicilian "Arancina" in a bar, a local street food specialty. You will continue the visit in the old part of the city with the Cathedral, the Royal Palace and the Palatine Chapel. Continue to Monreale, famous for its Cathedral with polychrome mosaics on a golden background, depicting scenes from the Old and New Testament, and end the visit with the cloister. In the afternoon, enjoy one of the most beautiful beaches in Italy, so close to the center of Palermo. You will reach Mondello beach in 30 minutes from the city center. Mondello was (and still is) a fishing village, which at the beginning of the 20th century was chosen by wealthy families from Palermo as a place for their summer holidays. For this reason, you can admire many villas built in Liberty style, and another interesting Liberty-style building, the "Stabilimento balneare", built on stilts over the water, which also houses one of the best restaurants in Palermo. Mondello beach has a semicircular shape, between two promontories (Monte Pellegrino and Capo Gallo) and the color of the sea will amaze you. Depending on the weather and sea conditions, you may also have the opportunity to swim (from May until the end of October). A walk along the palm-lined seafront is a "must". In the main square, you will have the opportunity to taste Sicilian street food specialties or an ice cream on your own. Return to the center of Palermo. Overnight.

DAY 3: CEFALÙ & CASTELBUONO

• Breakfast at the hotel. Today you are free to relax and explore the city independently or you can visit Cefalù and Castelbuono

  Suggested itinerary: Drive to Cefalù, where you can start the day by visiting Piazza Duomo, which stretches below the Cathedral with its splendid mosaics and is surrounded by a series of beautiful palaces, stroll along Corso Ruggero, the main street, lined with a wide range of boutiques and built over the ancient Roman decumanus, and then head to the old washhouse. You can then head up into the hills to Castelbuono, an enchanting town formed in the 14th century around the castle built by the Ventimiglia family, a massive square construction with square towers, which has undergone many changes over the years. This is also the heart of the Madonie Regional Park. We suggest you sit down in a local restaurant to taste meat and mushroom specialties. Return to Palermo. Overnight in Palermo

DAY 4: THE TOUR ENDS AFTER BREAKFAST

• The rate includes the rental of a category C car for the entire duration of the stay with the "GOLD" insurance package; for an additional fee, it is possible to book Platinum insurance.
• Pick-up and drop-off of the car at the airport will take place from 08:00 to 22:30 at the Noleggiare desk; after those hours, the rental company will charge an extra fee.
• Each rental day consists of a 24-hour period; the vehicle must be returned on time or within 59 minutes after; after this period, an extra rental day will be charged at the official rate.
• Drivers must have a credit card for check-in.

The Gold insurance includes

• With Gold, the deductible amount will not be charged. The "Gold" package eliminates deductibles for damage and total theft and also allows the deductible to be waived for damage to vehicle parts not covered by the "Silver" package and includes coverage for glass and tires. Partial theft, attempted theft, roof damage, damage to the underside of the vehicle, interior damage, and damage caused by vandalism, riots, etc. are excluded.

Platinum insurance (upon request)

• If the customer purchases a "Platinum" package, the deductible amounts for theft (including partial theft and attempted theft) and damage (including damage to the roof, underside of the vehicle, and interiors) will be eliminated, and PAI services are included (which cover the driver in case of death, permanent disability, and accidents, with maximum coverage up to €100,000) and "Road Assistance Plus" 24-hour roadside assistance (covers all towing costs in the event of an at-fault accident and for any other event occurring during the rental).

• Cancellations up to 15 days before departure with full refund.
• Cancellations from 14 to 8 days before departure, 30% penalty.
• Cancellations from 7 to 4 days before departure, 50% penalty.
