DAY 2: PALERMO, MONREALE & MONDELLO
Breakfast at the hotel. Today you are free to relax and explore the city on your own Palermo
Suggested itinerary: Today you will visit Palermo - You will start with the Teatro Massimo, the third largest opera house in Europe. Then you will enter the popular market "Il Capo," which resembles an African souk; at the end of the market visit, you will taste a typical Sicilian "Arancina" in a bar, a local street food specialty. You will continue the visit in the old part of the city with the Cathedral, the Royal Palace, and the Palatine Chapel. Proceed to Monreale, famous for its Cathedral with polychrome mosaics on a golden background, depicting scenes from the Old and New Testament, and conclude the visit with the cloister. In the afternoon, enjoy one of the most beautiful beaches in Italy, so close to the center of Palermo. You will reach Mondello beach in 30 minutes from the city center. Mondello was (and still is) a fishing village, which at the beginning of the 20th century was chosen by wealthy Palermo families as a summer holiday destination. For this reason, many Art Nouveau villas can be admired there, as well as another interesting Art Nouveau building, the "Bathing Establishment," built on stilts over the water, which also houses one of the best restaurants in Palermo. Mondello beach has a semicircular shape, between two headlands (Monte Pellegrino and Capo Gallo), and the color of the sea will amaze you. Depending on the weather and sea conditions, you might also have the chance to swim (from May to the end of October). A walk along the palm-lined promenade is a "must." In the main square, you will have the opportunity to taste Sicilian street food specialties or an ice cream on your own. Return to the center of Palermo. Overnight in Palermo.
DAY 3: MARSALA, ERICE & SEGESTA
Breakfast at the hotel. Today you are free to relax and explore the city on your own or you can visit Marsala Stagnone, Erice, and Segesta.

Stop at the Stagnone Reserve, a magical place with a natural landscape of rare beauty due to its white salt pans with windmills. Continue driving to Erice, the medieval town on top of Mount San Giuliano. Here you can admire the Norman Castle (outside) and the Cathedral. Meanwhile, we suggest stopping at a bakery to taste the typical almond paste of Erice. Continue to Segesta, one of the most beautiful archaeological sites in Sicily, where it is recommended to visit the Doric temple whose majestic appearance and dominant position give great nobility to the landscape. Return to Palermo. Overnight in Palermo.
DAY 4: AGRIGENTO & RAGUSA

Ragusa has been included in the UNESCO list, with 18 sites declared World Heritage. Continue to Modica, a UNESCO city, known especially for its chocolate as well as its wonderful buildings. We recommend wandering through the alleys, always moving upwards; once you reach the highest part of the hill, you can admire a wonderful panorama of the city. Continue your tour by going to Noto, included by UNESCO in the list of World Heritage sites in 2002. Cross the famous Arch, stroll through the center admiring the wonderful aristocratic palaces with famous decorated balconies, the sumptuous churches rich in decorations, the cathedral with its staircase, and the city theater, all built in Baroque style.
