DAY 1: VERONA
DAY 2: LAKE GARDA (KM 160)

Breakfast at the hotel. Today you are free to relax and discover the city on your own or we suggest taking a tour of the lake and admire the most famous towns such as Desenzano, Sirmione, Malcesine, Limone, and Salo’. Each of them has a different history and traditions dating back to before the Middle Ages.

Suggested itinerary: Drive to Sirmione to visit its famous Castle, continue to Desenzano to admire the Castle and the Roman Villa. Continue to Salo’ to admire its lakeside; then stop at Limone, famous for its lemon groves, and finally Malcesine, another important tourist location on the Veronese shore of the upper Lake Garda and a famous medieval village.
DAY 3: VERONA & PADUA (KM 240)

Breakfast at the hotel. Today you are free to relax and explore the beautiful towns in the Lake Garda area or dedicate the day to visiting Verona and Padua.

Suggested itinerary: Reach Verona and park near Piazza Bra: you will immediately find the symbol of the city, the Verona Arena, one of the largest Roman amphitheaters still existing. Continue along Via Mazzini and arrive at Piazza delle Erbe, one of the most characteristic squares of Verona: ancient houses with towers, arcades, and fountains including the central one with a Roman statue and Juliet’s house. Continue the day by car towards Padua and visit the Scrovegni Chapel with the Church of the Hermits and the Art Gallery. Together with the Sistine Chapel, two masterpieces that everyone should admire at least once in their life. We also recommend visiting the Basilica of Saint Anthony. Return to the hotel in the Garda area. Overnight stay.
DAY 4: VENICE (KM 400)

Breakfast at the hotel. Today you are free to relax and explore the beautiful towns in the Lake Garda area or dedicate the day to visiting Venice with your car or we suggest the train.

Suggested itinerary: Reach Punta Sabbioni and from there take the boat to Venice. Start your walking tour exploring Piazza San Marco before heading to the Cathedral. From the terrace on the first floor, you can admire the view of the lagoon and see up close the famous bronze horses. Afterwards, you can reach the Doge’s Palace, once the residence of the ruler of the Republic of Venice. You can visit, among other things, the Hall of the Great Council and the courtrooms. Then, cross the very famous Bridge of Sighs which connects to the New Prisons. You can also see Santa Maria Formosa, San Giovanni and Paolo, Marco Polo’s house, and the famous Rialto area. Continue the day visiting the Church of the Frari (which houses works by Titian, such as the splendid "Assumption") or the Church of San Rocco Ai Frari (with works by Tintoretto, including the Great "Crucifixion"). Get ready to take wonderful photos. Return to the hotel in the Garda area. Overnight stay.
DAY 5: FLORENCE (KM 390)
- Breakfast at the hotel. Departure for Montecatini. We suggest visiting Florence, one of the most spectacular art capitals in the world where one third of all Italy’s artistic treasures are located.
- Suggested itinerary: Reach Florence and start with a visit to Santa Croce, the largest Franciscan Church in Italy, considered the burial place of the most important Italian personalities in history, art, and literature. Equally impressive is Palazzo Vecchio in Piazza della Signoria with the reproduction of Michelangelo’s David. It is recommended to visit the Uffizi Gallery, the art gallery famous worldwide, or stroll through the city streets and end the day with a coffee in Piazza della Repubblica. Continue to Montecatini Terme. Overnight stay in Montecatini Terme.
DAY 6: SIENA & SAN GIMIGNANO (KM 256)
- Breakfast at the hotel. Today you are free to relax or dedicate the day to visiting Siena and San Gimignano.
- Suggested itinerary: Head towards the Chianti area, which stretches between Siena and Florence, where one of the most famous wines, Chianti, is produced. Let yourself be enchanted by a magnificent landscape of hills, fields, vineyards, and olive groves. You can discover San Gimignano, whose towers are visible from afar. To see: the Basilica of Santa Maria Assunta, the Palazzo del Popolo with the Civic Museum, and Piazza della Cisterna with its beautiful fountain. Continue to Siena. The medieval city of Siena is a work of art from the Gothic period. With its historic center and narrow streets paved with Sienese clay bricks, the tall reddish-brown palaces, you will have the impression that time has stopped. The historic center, on its three hills grouped in the shape of three stars, is famous for its Palazzo Pubblico and the Torre del Mangia (88 meters high). From here you enjoy a splendid view of the famous and beautiful Piazza del Campo. Overnight stay in Montecatini.
DAY 7: PISA & LUCCA (KM 260)
- Breakfast at the hotel. Today you are free to relax or dedicate the day to visiting Pisa and Lucca.
- Suggested itinerary: The Leaning Tower of Pisa has made it famous worldwide. During your visit, you can admire the Piazza dei Miracoli, the Cathedral, the Tower of Pisa, the Baptistery, and the Campo Santo. The Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta is a masterpiece of Italian architecture. Inside the Baptistery, you can visit the hexagonal pulpit by Nicola Pisano. Very particular is the Cemetery which has the shape of a monumental cloister. Reach Lucca and visit this splendid medieval city with the Guinigi Tower and the Clock Tower. From these points, you enjoy a splendid view over the roofs of the Tuscan city, a panorama that allows you to appreciate its beauty and harmony, and to rediscover the same urban architecture built by the Romans. Piazza dell’ Anfiteatro, one of the most beautiful squares in Italy. The Church of San Michele, also called the Foro, is a place where the center of Lucca once stood. Overnight stay in Montecatini Terme.
DAY 8: DEPARTURE
- Breakfast at the hotel. Check-out at 10:00. Transfer to the airport, return of the car, and end of our services. Thank you and goodbye!

(*) The indicated hotels may be replaced with others of the same category. Accommodations are located in the indicated towns or in different cities where it will be possible to carry out the program
- Norma Vacanze only handles the mediation between the customer and the car rental company. In case of disputes with the renter or accidents, the rules established in the contract signed at the airport between the customer and the renter will apply, without any involvement of Norma Vacanze.
- Each customer can independently choose whether to follow the suggested itinerary or create one based on their own needs. However, it is essential to follow the schedule regarding the cities where overnight stays are planned.
- Cars are subject to availability and your category may not be available at all times. If category C is not available at the time of booking, a higher category will be offered with an additional charge that will be communicated before confirming each reservation.
- Hotel parking is not guaranteed, but it will be possible to find parking nearby.
- The rate includes the rental of a category C car for the duration of the stay with the "GOLD" insurance package; with an extra charge, it is possible to book the Platinum insurance.
- Drivers must have a credit card for check-in.
- Norma Vacanze reserves the right to modify the excursion itinerary if deemed appropriate or due to force majeure.
- Norma Vacanze is not responsible for accidents, delays, damage or loss of luggage or personal belongings, nor for damages caused by third parties or others such as floods, storms, landslides, earthquakes, political unrest, epidemics, terrorist attacks, strikes, etc.
The rate does not include:
- Tourist tax to be paid locally
- Lunches and dinners unless mentioned
- Tips and personal extras
- Porter service
- Fuel
- Highway tolls
- Parking fees
- Tickets for planes, ships, trains, or buses to reach the airport
- Entrance fees to monuments and archaeological parks
- Anything not expressly indicated under "the rate includes".
- The car must be returned to the same airport, otherwise an additional cost will apply to be agreed with the rental company.
- Each rental day is a 24-hour period fraction; the vehicle must be returned on time or within 59 minutes afterward.
- Car pick-up and return at the airport will take place during the opening hours of the rental company (every day from 08:00 to 22:30); after these hours, the rental company will charge an additional fee. Please check before booking your flight.
Entrance tickets
- To avoid lines at museums or archaeological parks, advance booking is required: Advance booking of entrance tickets is mandatory on the first day of the tour.
- Tickets are non-refundable.

- Fuel recovery service, a surcharge of €30.00 will be applied if the car is returned with more than 5 liters of missing fuel.
- There is a tolerance of 59 minutes, after which a full day will be charged.
- At the time of booking, the car category is guaranteed, not the model.
Gold insurance includes
- With Gold, the deductible amount will not be charged. The "Gold" package eliminates the deductibles for damage and total theft and allows the elimination of the deductible also for damages to parts of the vehicle not covered by the "Silver" package and includes coverage for windows and tires. Partial theft, attempted theft, roof damage, damage to the underside of the vehicle, interior damage, and those caused by vandalism, riots, etc., are excluded.
Platinum Insurance (on request)
- If the customer purchases a "Platinum" package, the amount of deductibles for theft (including partial theft and attempted theft) and damage (including damage to the roof, underside of the vehicle, and interior) will be eliminated, and the PAI services (which cover the driver in case of death, permanent disability, and accidents, with a maximum coverage of up to €100,000) and "Road Assistance Plus" 24h roadside assistance (covers all towing costs in case of an accident with fault and for any other event occurring during the rental) will be provided.
