DAY 1: TROPEA

• Arrival at Lamezia Terme airport. After picking up the rental car, departure for Tropea. Free time to explore the city on your own. Overnight in Tropea.

DAY 2: PIZZO CALABRO & CAPO VATICANO

• Breakfast at the hotel. This day you are free to relax and explore the city on your own or you can choose to visit Tropea, Pizzo, and Capo Vaticano, the most precious jewels of the Tyrrhenian coast of Calabria.
  
  Suggested itinerary: Reach Pizzo Calabro, one of the most beautiful and famous fishing villages with a historic center characterized by narrow streets and small squares. Here you will visit the small church of Piedigrotta which is carved into the limestone cliffs right above the sea. Before going to Tropea, you should try the famous truffle ice cream, known worldwide. In Tropea, you can visit the historic center rich in ancient buildings and the Norman cathedral. You can also see the Church of Santa Maria dell'Isola which is surrounded by beautiful white sandy beaches with views of the Aeolian Islands. Then you can depart for Capo Vaticano through postcard scenery and arrive at the famous lighthouse from which you can admire some of the most beautiful views of Calabria with cliffs and bays. At the end of this journey, you should visit a shop with typical Calabrian products and have the opportunity to taste some local delicacies. Overnight in the Tropea area.

DAY 3: SCILLA & REGGIO CALABRIA

• Breakfast at the hotel. This day you are free to relax and explore the city on your own or you can choose to visit Scilla and Reggio Calabria.
  
  Suggested itinerary: Reach Scilla, the characteristic town in the enchanting setting of the Costa Viola. Here you can visit the ancient fishing village known as Chianalea. The second stop can be the Ruffo Castle and the church of San Rocco. Continue your day driving towards Reggio Calabria, an elegant city in Liberty style, belonging to the Italian Art Nouveau period. Here you can also visit the National Archaeological Museum which houses the richest collection of Magna Graecia artifacts and the Riace Bronzes. Then we recommend taking a walk along the seafront which was defined by Gabriele D'Annunzio as "The most beautiful kilometer in Italy." Visit the Roman baths, the Greek walls, and the cathedral. Return to Tropea. Overnight in the Tropea area.

DAY 4: CILENTO NATIONAL PARK

• This day you are free to relax and explore the city on your own or you can choose to visit the "Cilento National Park" or Sicily and return to Tropea. Overnight in the Tropea area.

DAY 5: THE TOUR ENDS AFTER BREAKFAST

• Today your journey ends after breakfast. Check out at 10:00. Drive to Lamezia Terme airport and return the car at the rental desk.

• The car can be delivered at a different airport from the pickup location (upon request). Each rental day has a 24-hour fraction, the vehicle must be returned on time or within the following 59 minutes; Car pickup and delivery at the airport will be during Noleggiare company opening hours; after these hours the rental company will charge an extra fee. Please check before booking your flight!
• Norma Vacanze only acts as an intermediary between the customer and the rental company. In case of disputes with the rental company or accidents, the rules established in the contract signed at the airport between the customer and the rental company apply, without any involvement of Norma Vacanze.
• Norma Vacanze is not responsible for accidents, delays, damage or loss of luggage or personal items, nor for damages caused by third parties or others such as floods, storms, hurricanes, landslides, earthquakes, political unrest, terrorist attacks, strikes.
• Each customer can independently choose whether to follow the suggested itinerary or instead create one according to their own needs. It is however essential to follow the schedule related to the cities where overnight stays are planned.
• Cars are subject to availability and your category may not be available at all times. If category C is not available at the time of booking, a higher category will be offered with an extra charge that will be communicated before confirming each booking.
• Hotel parking is not guaranteed, it will be possible in the surrounding area.
• The rate includes the rental of a category C car for the entire duration of the stay with the "GOLD" insurance package; with an extra charge it is possible to book the Platinum insurance.
• Car pickup and delivery at the airport will be from 08:00 to 22:30 at the Noleggiare booth; after these hours the rental company will charge an extra fee.
• Each rental day has a 24-hour fraction, the vehicle must be returned on time or within the following 59 minutes; after this period an extra rental day will be charged at the official rate.
• Drivers must have a credit card for check-in.

THE RATE INCLUDES:

• Gold Plan Insurance - eliminates deductibles for theft and damage. Also covers glass and tire damage.

THE RATES DO NOT INCLUDE:

• Fuel recovery service, a surcharge of €30.00 will be applied if the car is returned with more than 5 liters of fuel missing.
• There is a tolerance of 59 minutes, after which a full day will be charged.
• At the time of booking, the car category is guaranteed, not the model.

Gold insurance includes

• With Gold, the deductible amount will not be charged. The "Gold" package eliminates the deductibles for damages and total theft and allows the elimination of the deductible also for damages to parts of the vehicle not covered by the "Silver" package and includes coverage for glass and tires. Partial theft, attempted theft, roof damage, damage to the underside of the vehicle, interior damage, and damages caused by vandalism, riots, etc., are excluded.

Platinum Insurance (on request)

• If the customer purchases a "Platinum" package, the deductible amounts for theft (including partial theft and attempted theft) and damages (including damages to the roof, underside of the vehicle, and interiors) will be eliminated, and the PAI services (which cover the driver in case of death, permanent disability, and accidents, with a maximum coverage up to €100,000) and "Road Assistance Plus" 24h roadside assistance (covers all towing costs in case of an accident with fault and for any other event occurring during the rental) are included.

• Cancellations up to 15 days before departure with full refund.
• Cancellations from 14 to 8 days before departure, 30% penalty.
• Cancellations from 7 to 4 days before departure, 50% penalty.
• In case of cancellation within 3 days before departure, 100% penalty.
• No refund is provided for no-shows or voluntary interruption of an already started trip.
