DAY 1: ROME

• Arrival at Rome airport. After picking up the rental car, drive to Rome. There are no planned activities on this day. Free time to explore the city on your own. Overnight stay.

DAY 2: ROME

• Breakfast at the hotel. This day you are free to relax and explore the city on your own. We suggest visiting the highlights of Rome's iconic monuments, which is a fascinating sight.

  Suggested itinerary: You can visit the Pyramid, the Mouth of Truth, the Circus Maximus, the Baths of Caracalla, and the Colosseum. Then you can admire Santa Maria Maggiore, Piazza della Repubblica, Piazza Venezia, the Quirinale. Walk through the historic city center and visit the Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Piazza Navona, Pantheon, Via Condotti, Via del Corso, Piazza del Popolo, and Villa Borghese. Continue your visit along the Lungotevere, admire the Palace of Justice and Castel Sant'Angelo. Overnight in Rome.

DAY 3: ROME

• Breakfast at the hotel. This day you are free to relax and explore the city on your own.

  Suggested itinerary: We suggest visiting the Vatican Museums, a huge complex of galleries containing some of the most important Italian artworks, from paintings and sculptures to tapestries and classical antiquities. Adjacent to St. Peter's Basilica, the kilometers of corridors in the Vatican Museums connect buildings and courtyards housing the Picture Gallery, the Egyptian Museum, the Tapestry Gallery, the Pio-Clementino Museum, and the Map Gallery. But the crown jewels are the Sistine Chapel, famous for Michelangelo’s ceiling and the Last Judgment, and the 16th-century frescoes in Raphael’s rooms. Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 4: AMALFI COAST

• Breakfast at the hotel. This day you are free to relax and explore the city on your own or you can choose to spend the day in the Roman Castles or on the Amalfi Coast.

  Suggested itinerary: Visit the famous towns of Positano, Amalfi, and Ravello to stroll through the beautiful streets, browse boutiques, or do whatever you like. Stop first in Positano to see the beautiful beach and do some shopping. Continue to Amalfi, famous for its colorful cathedral and paper-making history. Enjoy some free time in Amalfi for lunch (own expense). Visit the hill of Ravello after lunch to admire the spectacular views. Return to Rome. Overnight in Rome.

DAY 5: THE TOUR ENDS AFTER BREAKFAST

• Today your trip ends after breakfast. Check out by 10:00 AM. Drive to Rome airport and return the car at the rental desk.

• The car can be delivered at a different airport from the pickup location (upon request). Each rental day has a 24-hour fraction, the vehicle must be returned on time or within the following 59 minutes; Car pickup and delivery at the airport will be during Noleggiare company opening hours; after these hours the rental company will charge an extra fee. Please check before booking your flight!
• Norma Vacanze only acts as an intermediary between the customer and the rental company. In case of disputes with the rental company or accidents, the rules established in the contract signed at the airport between the customer and the rental company apply, without any involvement of Norma Vacanze.
• Norma Vacanze is not responsible for accidents, delays, damage or loss of luggage or personal items, nor for damages caused by third parties or others such as floods, storms, hurricanes, landslides, earthquakes, political unrest, terrorist attacks, strikes.
• Each customer can independently choose whether to follow the suggested itinerary or instead create one according to their own needs. It is however essential to follow the schedule related to the cities where overnight stays are planned.
• Cars are subject to availability and your category may not be available at all times. If category C is not available at the time of booking, a higher category will be offered with an extra charge that will be communicated before confirming each booking.
• Hotel parking is not guaranteed, it will be possible in the surrounding area.
• The rate includes the rental of a category C car for the entire duration of the stay with the "GOLD" insurance package; with an extra charge it is possible to book the Platinum insurance.
• Car pickup and delivery at the airport will be from 08:00 to 22:30 at the Noleggiare booth; after these hours the rental company will charge an extra fee.
• Each rental day has a 24-hour fraction, the vehicle must be returned on time or within the following 59 minutes; after this period an extra rental day will be charged at the official rate.
• Drivers must have a credit card for check-in.

THE RATE INCLUDES:

THE RATES DO NOT INCLUDE:

• Fuel recovery service, a surcharge of €30.00 will be applied if the car is returned with more than 5 liters of fuel missing.
• There is a tolerance of 59 minutes, after which a full day will be charged.
• At the time of booking, the car category is guaranteed, not the model.

Gold insurance includes

• With Gold, the deductible amount will not be charged. The "Gold" package eliminates the deductibles for damages and total theft and allows the elimination of the deductible also for damages to parts of the vehicle not covered by the "Silver" package and includes coverage for glass and tires. Partial theft, attempted theft, roof damage, damage to the underside of the vehicle, interior damage, and damages caused by vandalism, riots, etc., are excluded.

Platinum Insurance (on request)

• If the customer purchases a "Platinum" package, the deductible amounts for theft (including partial theft and attempted theft) and damages (including damages to the roof, underside of the vehicle, and interiors) will be eliminated, and the PAI services (which cover the driver in case of death, permanent disability, and accidents, with a maximum coverage up to €100,000) and "Road Assistance Plus" 24h roadside assistance (covers all towing costs in case of an accident with fault and for any other event occurring during the rental) are included.

• Cancellations up to 15 days before departure with full refund.
• Cancellations from 14 to 8 days before departure, 30% penalty.
• Cancellations from 7 to 4 days before departure, 50% penalty.
• In case of cancellation within 3 days before departure, 100% penalty.
• No refund is provided for no-shows or voluntary interruption of an already started trip.
