DAY 1: CANNIGIONE
Arrival at Olbia airport. After picking up the rental car, depart for Cannigione. There are no scheduled activities on this day. Free time to explore the city on your own. Overnight at the hotel.
DAY 2: ALGHERO, CAPO CACCIA & PORTO CONTE BAY
Breakfast at the hotel. Today you are free to relax and explore the surroundings or take a swim on the beach or visit Alghero, Capo Caccia, and Porto Conte Bay.
Suggested itinerary: Drive to Alghero. Visit the historic center with its walls and Spanish towers, the Church of San Francesco, the Cathedral, the Bousquet promenade. Opt for a boat tour to the Neptune Caves, departing from Alghero port. Climb up to the Capo Caccia promontory and Porto Conte Bay for a scenic hike. On the way back, we suggest stopping at Palmavera Nuraghe for a visit. Return by car to your hotel. Overnight.
DAY 3: BOSA, PAULILATINO & THARROS
Breakfast at the hotel. Today you are free to relax and explore the surroundings or take a swim on the beach or spend your day in Corsica.
Suggested itinerary: Drive to the port of Santa Teresa di Gallura located at the northern tip of Sardinia. From there take the ferry to Bonifacio. It takes 45 minutes to reach the opposite side. There are 13 km of sea between the two islands Corsica and Sardinia. Like most port cities, Bonifacio also has a rich history. The ancient trading city founded between 823 and 833 by the Marquis of Tuscany consists of a "marina" district, the lower town, and the "upper town" which is situated on a promontory from which you can enjoy breathtaking views. On clear days you can see the Sardinian coast. The tourist train takes guests to the upper part where visitors will have a guided walking tour of about an hour. Take the ferry back to Santa Teresa. Return by car to your hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
DAY 4: CORSICA
Breakfast at the hotel. Today you are free to relax and explore the surroundings or take a swim on the beach or spend your day in Corsica.
