The Hotel Tonic is located between the most important theatres of the city, the Massimo and the Politeama. It is the ideal location both for tourists who want to immerse themselves in the colors of the ancient capital of the Kingdom of the Two Sicilies and for the businessman who needs to be within walking distance of the commercial and administrative heart of the city. Opened in 1979, housed in an Art Nouveau noble palace designed by Michele Utveggio in 1906, the Hotel Tonic was one of the first two-star hotels in Palermo. In 1992 the hotel achieved the third star, thanks to the acquisition of a further floor; in 2000, with the opening of the breakfast room and two additional floors, it reached its current appearance with 38 rooms. Over the years, several renovations have been carried out, aimed at improving the hotel’s appearance and facilities. In April 2018, we opened the new breakfast room, completely renovated and in March 2019 we inaugurated the Agora Room.

It’s possible to park the car in a secure garage, close to the hotel. The daily rate corresponds to € 15,00 for utilitarian cars, € 18,00 for suvs and € 25,00 for minivans. The garage is open H24 from Monday to Saturday. On Sunday it closes from 11:00 am to 8:15 pm. A free valet service is included from Monday to Saturday, from 08:00 am to 08:00 pm. Free WI-FI. The Agora Room, tastefully furnished in contemporary style, has been inaugurated in March 2019. Located on the ground floor of the hotel, it acts as both a meeting place for the hotel’s guests and a meeting room, ideal for business conferences and events in the heart of Palermo.The Agorà Room benefits from natural and artificial lighting and can accommodate up to 30 people in theater-style (with a table for the speakers), 20 people in a U shape-style, 20 people with school desks and 26 people with a big table. The room is equipped with a private bathroom, projection screen, high-speed Wi-Fi connection and 55-inch Samsung Flip multimedia board.

The Executive rooms have been renovated in 2017 and have all the modern conveniences to guarantee a lovely experience in the heart of Palermo. Soundproofed to ensure maximum relaxation during your stay, these have a 32" LCD TV, telephone, minibar, safe, kettle with tea and coffee making facilitiy, air conditioning and a comfortable bathroom, with towel warmer and complimentary toiletries.
