On the eastern coast of Sicily, just north of Catania, there is a small gem overlooking the sea which, in our opinion, is one of those stops that cannot be missed on a visit to the Sicilian land; we are talking about Aci Trezza. Among the legends dating back to ancient Greece but also to the much more recent Italian literature and a fishing village overlooking the Ionian Sea, a protected marine reserve, about 9 kilometers from Catania, Aci Trezza also hosts a port equipped with naval refueling facilities and excursion centers.
