Rooms
The owners have renovated the ancient monastery farmhouse, converting it into accommodation for tourists, with 14 cozy rooms furnished with Sicilian-style furniture, each with a private bathroom and terracotta floors. Six of these rooms have a private terrace (2 triples and 4 doubles) and two are equipped for disabled guests (1 double and 1 quadruple). The building, of particular architectural value, consists of several structures that form an internal courtyard to which the adjacent buildings converge. The renovation was carried out respecting traditional architecture where arches, small squares, old beams, and thick walls recreate the ancient and warm atmosphere of the best Sicilian architectural tradition. The thick stone walls and the particular ventilated hillside exposure protect the structure from the usual summer heat peaks, and ceiling fans manage to maintain a healthy and natural ideal temperature. The GIGLIOTTO farmhouse is open all year round and all rooms benefit from a modern central heating system during the winter period.
