Bus excursion with a Guide to Syracuse, one of the oldest Greek colonies in Sicily, a World Heritage site and UNESCO site. Meeting with the Local Guide and visit to the Archaeological Area dating back to the 5th century BC with the Greek Theatre, the Roman Amphitheatre, the Altar of Hiero II, and the Latomies of Paradise with the Ear of Dionysius. Following this, visit to the historic center of the island of Ortigia with the Temple of Apollo, the Cathedral, an important baroque church built on an ancient temple, the Hypogeum, and the Arethusa Fountain with the famous papyrus plant.
