Program

  • This extraordinary open-top bus tour provides an overview of the main towns and attractions where the famous film 'The Godfather' was filmed. Savoca and Forza d'Agrò (the GodFather Tour). Thanks to the tourist lines, the stops and the timetable that dictates the times of the service, it is possible to get off at the stop in Savoca, visit the site of interest, and continue the tour to discover Forza D'Agrò with the same ticket. The service runs daily, departing in the afternoon, subject to prior booking. At the stop in Savoca, our tour includes a stop of about an hour, during which clients have the opportunity to visit the small village, famous for having been the film set for the film, and visit the famous Bar Vitelli, the Church of the Calvary, the Church of San Rocco, and the Church of Santa Lucia, in whose underground crypt, in past centuries, the corpses of the town's notables were mummified and then placed in the crypt of the Capuchin Convent. After visiting Savoca, our tour continues to the village of Forza D'Agrò, also the setting for the 'Godfather' films, where we will stop for about 45 minutes. The places where scenes were filmed in Forza d'Agrò include the square and the church of the SS. Annunziata.
