Arrival at Rome airport. After picking up the rental car, drive to Rome. On this day there are no planned activities. Free time to discover the city on your own.

2Day: Rome area
Breakfast in hotel. This day you are free to relax and explore the city on your own. We suggest you to visit the highlights of the monuments symbol of Rome and it is a fascinating view.
Overnight in Rome.
You can visit the Piramide, the Mouth of Truth, Circus Maximus, the Baths of Caracalla and the Colosseum. You can then admire Santa Maria Maggiore, Republic Square, Piazza Venezia, the Quirinale. Walk through the historical center of the city and visit Fontana di Trevi, Piazza di Spagna, Piazza Navona, Pantheon, Via Condotti, Via del Corso, Piazza del Popolo and Villa Borghese. Continue your visit through Lungotevere, admire Palazzo di Giustizia and Castel Sant’Angelo.
Breakfast in the hotel. This day you have to drive to Montecatini. We suggest you to visit Florence, one of the most spectacular largest art capital of the world where one-third of all art treasures of Italy is located.
Overnight in Montecatini Terme.
Dive to Florence and start to visit Santa Croce, the largest Franciscan church in Italy, considered the burial site of the most important Italian personalities from history, art and literature. Equally impressive is the Palazzo Vecchio in the Piazza della Signoria with the replica of David by Michelangelo. Recommended is the visit to the Uffizi Gallery, the world-famous art gallery or stroll the streets of the city and let the day finish with a café on the Piazza della Repubblica.

4Day: Siena and San Gimignano
Breakfast in the hotel. This day you are free to relax and explore the city on your own or you can opt to spend your day in Siena and San Gimignano.
Overnight in Montecatini Terme.
Heading into the Chianti area, which extends between Siena and Florence, that has spawned one of the most famous wines, the Chianti. Let yourself be enchanted by one of the most magnificent landscapes of hills, fields, numerous vineyards and olive groves. You ca discover San Gimignano, whose soaring towers that can already be seen from afar. Worth seeing are the Basilica of Santa Maria Assunta, the Palazzo del Popolo with the Museum Civico and the Piazza della Cisterna with its pretty fountain. Drive to Siena. The medieval city of Siena is a work of art of the Gothic period. With its winding old town and the narrow, red-brown of high palaces brick of Sienese clay-lined streets, it seems as if the clock of centuries stopped. The historic center on its three hills grouped in the form of a three-star, is famous for its Palazzo Pubblico and its Torre del Mangia (88 meters high). From here you have a wonderful view of the famous beautiful Piazza del Campo.
5Day: Pisa and Lucca
Breakfast in hotel. This day you are free to relax and explore the city on your own or you can opt to spend your day to visit Pisa and Lucca.
Overnight in Montecatini Terme.
The Leaning Tower of Pisa has made it famous throughout the world. During your day trip you can admire the Square of Miracles, the unique composition of the Cathedral, the Leaning Tower, Baptistery and Campo Santo. The Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta is a masterpiece of the italian Architecture. Inside the Baptistery you can visit the hexagonal pulpit by Nicola Pisano. Something very special in its own way is the Cemetery in the form of a monumental cloister. Drive to Lucca and visit this beautiful medieval city with the Guinigi Tower and the Clock Tower. From these points there is a splendid view over the rooftops of the Tuscan town, an overview that allows you to appreciate the beauty and harmony, and find the same urban structure built by the Romans. Piazza of the Amphitheatre, in the name of what was already said in this space occupied today by one of the most beautiful squares in Italy. The Church of San Michele, also called the Forum, is a place where there was the center of the ancient Lucca.
6Day: Trasimeno Lake, Perugia and Assisi
Breakfast in hotel. This day you have to drive to Rome. You are free to relax and explore the city on your own or you can opt to spend your day to visit the Trasimeno Lake, Perugia and Assisi.

As you cross the Tuscan countryside, the first town you meet will be Passignano sul Trasimeno, a small medieval hamlet with ancient city walls and a beautiful fortress. The town features a famous tourist resort at a magical location which provides a stunning view of the enchanting lake and surrounding islands. After this visit proceed through the evocative landscape until you reach the hill from which the ancient city of Perugia rises. Evidence of its Etruscan origin is preserved in the travertine walls and the conveniently located in the village centre. Perugia is one of the most popular Italian cities of art, with a beautiful square from which you can admire architectural jewels such as the superb Palazzo dei Priori and the splendid Cathedral placed beside the Loggia. The elegant Fontana Maggiore is another breathtaking masterpiece. Drive to Assisi, the quaint town where the patron saint of Italy, Saint Francis of Assisi lived, worked and died. The town of Assisi can be found at the foot of Mount Subasi. On your arrival you should first visit the Basilica of Santa Maria degli Angeli, built as protection for the famous church of the “Porziuncola”. Here you can also see the “rosebush without thorns”. Drive to the center of Assisi where you can visit the civil and religious artistic heritage of the city. Admire the splendid Gothic Basilica dedicated to Saint Chiara, the Renaissance Chiesa Nuova with an elegant Dome and the Roman temple of Minerva which still retains its first century AD façade.Discover the fourteenth century Monte Frumentario and finally visit the famous and beautiful St Francis’ Basilica, a UNESCO heritage monument, built with white-rosy stone originating from Mount Subasio. The wonderful frescoed cycles painted by Cimabue, Giotto, Simone Martini and Lorenzetti are preserved inside the Basilica. Breathe in the special atmosphere of serenity and joy that this city emanates and you will understand why it has been chosen as symbol of Peace by the delegates of the main religions in the world. Breakfast in the hotel, we suggest you to visit the Vatican Museum, an enormous complex of galleries holding some of Italy’s most important art, from paintings and sculptures to tapestries and classical antiquities. Adjoining St. Peter’s Basilica, the Vatican Museums’ miles of corridors connect buildings and courtyards housing the Pinacoteca, Egyptian Museum, Gallery of Tapestries, Pius- Clementine Museum, and Gallery of Maps. 8Day: Tour overs after breakfast
Today your trip comes to an end after breakfast. Check out at 10:00. Drive to Rome airport and release the car at the rental counter.

Norma Vacanze deals only with the intermediation between the customer and the car rental company. In case of disputes with the rental company or accidents , the rules set out in the contract signed between the customer and the rental company apply, without any involvement of Norma Vacanze.
Each customer can choose independently whether to follow the suggested itinerary or to create one according to their own needs. However, it is essential that the cities in which to stay overnight are respected, as indicated on the program.

The amount of the allowances provided is reduced by 70% for damages or total theft. The “Silver” package reduces the deductibles but does not cover partial theft, attempted theft and damage to the roof, the lower part of the vehicle, wheels, windows, interior, and vandalism.
- Insurance Gold Package (with supplement of € 10 per day for a category A car): If the customer purchases a “Gold” package, the amount of the deductible will not be charged. The “Gold” package clears the deductibles provided for damages and total theft and allows you to eliminate the deductible also for damages occurred to the parts of the vehicle not covered by the “Silver” package and the coverage of windows and tires is provided. Partial theft, attempted theft, damage to the roof, damage to the lower part of the vehicle, damage to the interior and damage caused by vandalism, riots, etc. are excluded.
- Insurance Platinum package (with supplement of € 15 per day for a category A car):
If the customer purchases a “Platinum” package, the amount of the theft deductibles (also for partial theft and attempted theft) and damages (also for damage to the roof, the lower part of the vehicle and the interiors) will be zeroed and the PAI services (which guarantees the driver in the event of death, permanent disability and accidents, with a ceiling of up to € 100,000) and “Road Assistance Plus 24h road assistance (covers all towing costs in the event of an accident with fault and for any other event that occurred during the rental period).
The security deposit must be paid directly by customers by credit card. Below is the detail of the security deposits provided for in the ZERO EXCESS SILVER rate € 200.00.
